Here's hoping

That Omar Minaya has a pitcher or two already on their way up from Norfolk.

I'm going out on a limb and guessing tha Castro catches tomorrow.

Heilman only pitched an inning tonight, maybe he can start on Thursday.

Or Omar can rush a contract out to Clemens.

no way does LoDuca start tommorow, i'd guess Floyd sits too. Its possible an infielder sits but unlikely.
for the phillies Fasano won't start, wishful thinking is Abreu sits.

Well, Jeremi Gozalez is er, just was, warming up in the pen and he's Thursday's starter.
Oliver was to be Soler's "long man" for tomorrow.

It may be a good time even to throw Franco a start at first.

He won't sit Floyd, the way he's swinging the bat.

MacLane started on 5/19--he'd be the logical choice, and he's been very good:

AA: 33 IP, 4.64 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 25 K, 2 BB, 4 HR
AAA: 20.7 IP, 1.31 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, 19 K, 4 BB, 2 HR

Who would we send down, though? Oliver would make the most sense, but we can't without exposing him to waivers (not gonna happen). Endy Chavez, and go with a short bench?

Feliciano threw only 17 pitches, Julio 21, Bradford only 8, Billy 17. They'll all be available tomorrow. Possibly Heilman too (27 P).

I don't think any Met pitcher has options right now, except Soler.

I've been saying since the starters started going down that Feliciano has shown in the past that he can give you some pretty decent innings. I think he's been wasted as a LOOGY. Give the guy a shot, Willie, if all else fails.

Now that I calmed the Hell down, I realize the Mets aren't sitting so poorly today. The off-day Monday helped.

Here's where they all sit.

Some of these guys look to be touch-and-go, but Sanchez and Olvier look like the only ones who shouldn't be unpacked.

Sanchez threw only 3 more pitches than Heilman. Throw him out there if need be says I.
