My Life Sentence Begins On Sunday

TransMonk

Miss Monk is becoming Mrs. Monk this weekend.

We are conjoining in wedded bliss out in the country on Sunday. Due to my venture into loving amalgamation, I will be absent from any IGTs or other discussions concerning the Mets in South Florida this weekend.

Here's hoping they dominate the fish!

All the best to you both.

However, the least you could have done is go to Florida on your honeymoon. A honeymoon pales by comparison to spending a honeymoon and watching the Mets.
tsk tsk

Thanks to everyone for their great wishes!

I did not rock my own wedding...wanted to be able to meet and greet so we had pre-recorded music.

The honeymoon is in Cozumel next week, so I'll be away for the west coast trip June 3rd thru the 10th.

My new bride should earn CPF approval as her wedding gift to me was round trip tickets to New York and tickets to all 3 Braves games September 4th thru 6th! It will be my first trip to Shea and we get to see the whole series! She's a keeper.

My dad also got me an authentic David Wright home jersey as my gift...so all in all, a great day and tons of Mets gifts for me!

CPF approval?
Are you kidding?
That gets her immediately named to the CPF Hall of Fame.
You're darn right she's a keeper. Don't let her out of your sight.

Best of luck to the monks.

Transmonk Amalgamated ... sounds like a corrupt teamsters run interstate
transport firm from the 40's.

Congrats Monk. Weddings bring the Mets luck. On my wedding day, the Mets shut out the Phillies 6-0 behind Hideo Nomo. They proceeded to go 7-4 during my honeymoon.

(I didn't remember this, but rather looked it up on UMDB, how freakin' awesome is that site, I can't even begin to tell you...)
