Thunderstorm passed through apparently. Grounds crew now removing the tarp (as of 7 EDT). Probably 15-30 minute delay in the start of the game.

I've got a local weather station on my cable and the only storms they're showing are the ones going straight thru Central Queens - first one, then the other. It's like they're moving north to south over the Whitestone Bridge and sitting on top of Shea. I haven't seen a drop.

I'd argue that this is not about a team playing over its head. This is about a team that is better than most of the teams it plays. In baseball, that can often equate to one-run wins. It's the nature of the game.

That's the problem (just one of many actually) with saves/blown save totals; they only really mean anything when applied to those most strictly fitting the modern closer's role. Set-up guys run the risk of the BS but rarely ever get the chance to complete the save so their S/BS pcts generally suck even when they don't.
