At one time or another, we've all scratched our head over why some players get promoted and some don't. I always thought that because of his defense (which I'd read about) and ability to hit with a decent average, if no power, he might have a shot at the majors. Shame. I wonder which catchers the Mets thought were better than he was, and how many of them are career minor league roster fillers. Later

Wogan sounds like he's being way too personal. Hathaway should try the indy minors to stay sharp until his Met rights run out.
