Yankees and Braves lost. Could stink worse.

Except that our buddy Jorge Julio collects a save against the Los Bravos (despite serving up a bomb to Andruw) ... just minutes before Kyle Farnsworth blows one agin' Le Tiggers (Mariano not available 2night).
So the night wasn't a total loss.

btw, there's prolly good odds we'll get rained out - or at least seriously delayed - tomorrow.

The Tiggers' mojo was workin'. The last time the Yanks swept a four game series there was 80 years ago - 1926.

Lots of rain forecast for tonight, and through the weekend.

I hope they can get all three games in.

They basically have to have any double-headers this weekend, no?

"So you think you can dance" has to be the worst show on TV. The dancers stink, and the judges have no personality at all. One of them, I feel like, is trying to be like Simon on American Idol and just ends up being pointlessly mean. Stupid show. I was, however, suprisingly fascinated by the spelling bee.

Off days really do stink. Last time, I actually ended up watching a man hold his breath on TV.

Yes, but if there are two rainouts, or if Sunday is a rainout (or both) then the Giants are going to have to come back to New York for a one-day visit when there's an opening on the schedule.

World of Warcraft is a great off night distraction.

It was nice of the National Weather Service to mention a CPF member in its forecast.

I'm jealous!

Hey, I think I'm going to the game too.

EDIT: Dammit, my lack of reading skills seem to have caused me to miss the fact Yancy made the joke already.

"Tonight" is this thread started out by meaning Thursday but has now morphed into Friday.
Seeing as how it's in the present tense I suppose it'll always mean whatever day it is so long as we keep the thread alive and therefore every night will stink ... or something like that.

We're def getting delayed at some point tonight.
Saturday is a FOX game @ 1:20 so I wonder if that'll rule out a one-admission DH tomorrow if we're rained out Friday. They could do a day/night thing so as to move the FOX peeps and equipment out and the SNY stuff in. Most reports are showing Saturday's weather as getting better as the day goes on.
Sunday makes for a bad DH day because the Mets are headed for the West Coast.
