The TV show on CBS with Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer has jumped to the top tier of TV shows to watch in the Ted/Sponge household.

It's become a very, very funny show. The "Squab" episode from last season had me laughing so hard I almost passed out.

The Christmas episode with Josie Davis (the ordinary, blonde teenage girl in Charles in Charge but very yum today) was on last night. Stitches I say. Stitches.

I'm not big on family-type sitcoms so maybe I'm not the best judge - although I do catch this one occasionally.
The writing does make it better than most of its kind at times even if they do still fall into the habit of going for too many standard (read: slightly naughty) jokes that I see coming 5 seconds before they happen. Plus they go for the usual sitcom trait of giving the bratty kid comeback lines which he could never come up with on his own in a million years. And, wow, Charlie Sheen playing a drunken, chick-hound with committment problems ... How'd they ever come up with that?!?

Ahhh, I don't mean to rain on everyone's parade; it's not bad.
