The Mets welcomed Orlando Hernandez to the rotation. The offensive support he received from his new teammates had to make Hernandez feel good. The Mets pounded out 13 hits against the Marlins pitchers. Beltran struck the big blow with his 14th kaboom of the season.
After beating up on the Marlins pitching the past 2 games to win the series, it seems only fitting that the team celebrate their good play with some Saranac Black & Tan.
