Being Mookie Wilson reminded me of one of a sign that I saw at Shea. It said "What's a Mookie?". I'm not even sure what it meant, but I still think it's funny.

Edit: Screwing with the title.

Favorite sign at the Polo Grounds (before the ushers made the posters take it down and tossed them out of the park):
Fuck O'Malley

That sign guy holding up a sign that said, "what a loser" but spelled it with
two o's was an instant classic.

Another one, I think it was from the early 80's, when someone drapped a big
sign way way out in the outfield over a a bunch of empty rows of seats that
said something like, "Demons be Gone, Exorcise Shea!"

Favorite Sign: 'Bar Open'

Or is this just restricted to those at a ballgame? Oh, nevermind then.

Actually, remember the '93 WS game between the Jays & Phils that went about 5 hours and ended 14-13 or something like that? Both teams used about 6 pitchers each on none were very good and the game became a sort of symbol for the increasingly boom-ball era of baseball.
Anyway, the next game some fan holds up a sign reading:
'WILL PITCH MIDDLE RELIEF FOR FOOD'
