After a dominating trip to Arizona, the Mets are now 2nd in the NL in RS/G at 5.24 (1st--Dodgers at 5.56). We are also 2nd in the NL in RA/G at 4.27 (1st--Padres at 4.22).
Completely meaningless, laughable, and unrealistic stat
BP's "Playoff Odds Report" gives us an 89% shot at winning the NL East and a 4% shot at winning the NL Wild Card, for a whopping 94% chance at the Playoffs. Their projection: 97 W, 65 L.
Their "PECOTA-Adjusted Playoff Odds Report," which takes into account their PECOTA projections, gives us a 92% shot at the NL East and a 4% shot at the NL WC, for an even better 96% shota the playoffs. Projection: 99 W, 63 L.
