This game had more ups and downs than a damn yo-yo. Everytime you thought the game was over, the Mets would get a big hit to tie the game back up. The finally ran out of answers in the 12th inning.
Steve Trachsel pitched a fine game and deserved a far better fate. He should seek comfort from someone who can truly sympathize with him, like Pedro. The bullpen which has been stellar for the majority of the season let this game get away.
