Steve Trachsel didn't take his A-game to the mound in Arizona, but with the offensive support he received from the heart of the Mets order, it really didn't matter much. The 3-4-5 hitters combined to go 8-15, with 4 home runs, a double, 8 RBI's, and 7 runs scored. With all the Kaboooms!!!! in the game, The Arizona fans must have thought that Chase Field was under siege.
The POTG should propose a toast to the now departed Kaz Matsui and the team shall drink Scape Goat Pale Ale in his honor. I liked Kaz, but he has been a huge disappointment and the time had come for him to move on.
Give them hell in Colorado, Kaz.
