Vegas Baby!

Leaving tomorrow for a long weekend in Sin City.

I'd like to put some Delgados down on the Mets but I'm not well-versed in the whole sports-gambling thing.

I'm thinking that I can pretty much bet on whatever I want, be it the outcome of one game or the outcome of a three game series. I'm also going to put some Pelfrys down on the Mets winning the whole damn thing (although I'm sure my odds aren't as good now as they would have been a few months back).

Anyone more educated in this area? Any advice? Any tips?

(Blackjack I'm down with, so need for youse to worry about the little soupcans getting their back to school stuff from Goodwill this September)

Best of luck with the Blackjack tables, Soup.

The family and I leave for Vegas on Monday. We'll be there for a week of vacation and a conference.

Put a few Harry Parkers on Beltran winning the MVP. Why not?

They'll explain it all to you there.

Don't forget to look for the Flying Wolverines.

Remember that the oxygen in those places is recycled, have fun Soupcan, and yeah Beltran for MVP is worth a few quid.

Walking from the bus stop
Couldn't wait to get off
I know I'll be the lucky one
Hmm-mm-mmm

Walking through the twilight
Cold Nevada twilight
I know I am the lucky one
Hmm-mm-mmm

On the wheels!
On the tabletops!
On the handles with my shirt off!
On the floor!
On my heels again!
I know I'm the one, I'm the one, I'm the one

I'm standing on the corner
If I could find a dollar
I know I'd be the lucky one
Hmm-mm-mmm

Standing in the last light
Artificial daylight
I know I am the lucky one...
Hmm-mm-mmm

On the wheels!
On the tabletops!
On the handles with my shirt off!
On the floor!
On my heels again!
I know I'm the one, I'm the one, I'm the one

Okay - I'm back.

I was there for my dad's surprise 70th birthday and as it turned out I never got to the Sports Book in time to bet on the two Mets-O's games that were played while I was there. Good thing it turned out.

To win the WS, the Mets are now 2-1 as opposed to 7-1 at season's start. Put a hunnert down on that just to say I did.

Watching the Pedro-Benson game on a huge screen in the Sports Book which is on the casino floor - I was sitting amidst 10 or so Carolina Hurricanes fans who were watching Game 6 of that series. Is there a more annoying accent than rubes from North Carolina? I'm thinking not.

Had a good time, had two celebrity sightings - Robin Leach (big and very fat) and Christina Ricci (beautiful, sexy and of course she wanted me). Dad was so surprised that we were all there (about 20 people) that he got caught up in the moment and proposed to his girlfriend. 2 hours later we were all being whisked by three stretch limos to the Little White Chapel (I believe the same place Brittany Spears was married) and dad soon had wife #3 on his arm.

A great weekend for all (except the Mets)

That would be wonderful and horrible at the same time.

Or Robin Leach?
We need some serious clarification here.

Robin Leach is gi-normous.

He could barely walk his belly was protuding so far in front of him.

He was however, with a fabulously beautiful and stauesque blonde.

It would be strange to have Wednesday Addams as a step-mother.
