Great standings today: 1) Mets in first by 9.5 with the best record in the NL. 2) Braves in LAST 3) Nearest rivals to Mets sub .500, in large part because of losses inflicted upon them by the Mets. 4) Boston a game ahead of MFY's. Alas, sic transit gloritas mundi.
