Lastings Milledge inherits Wright's role of carrying Floyd home.

David's Mom won't like that.

LoBooCa and Wright were 1-for-7 the following night and the team has more or less played like shit since these photos were taken. Surprised Heilman isn't in those shots, he crapped the bed Friday too.

I think the Wifeys must know.

]I hate to say it, but I think David Wright just became my hero. Its good to know that while I sit here playing the role of desk jockey, guys my age like Wright are out playing baseball and getting drunk. Bastard.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA----->

]nice. Wright probably took his shot with two strikes.

I don't remember who or where, but someone ripped on Al for putting himself in a compromising situation where his picture could be taken at a party.

There's a shot in there of someone who could easily be taking Wright's picture with his phone. Actually that's probably where all those pictures came from.

Of course, Wright's a single guy, where Al is married with kids.

What might be compromising for Al Leiter isn't necessarily compromising for David Wright.

It's all harmelss fun ,nothing wrong with them going for a few drinks, Alex Ferguson once had to bail a young Roy Keane out of jail after an all day bender and a fight that night at a club in Manchester.

If I was European I'd probably know who those guys are.

Well, I didn't so much rip him, but yeah, these guys are making themselves vulnerable.

Nothing explicity bad there, but it's nice fodder for someone with an agenda.

Alex Ferguson was the guy who shot all those people on the LIRR then served as his own lawyer; Roy Keane was the Vegas showman who got mauled by the tiger. They were the best of friends.

Sorry, Keane went onto captain Manchester United and played 12 years for them.

Well yeah I agree.

My point was not that David or Al were doing anything wrong (my memory may be faulty, but I think Al's compromising position was standing by himself watching a beer pong game), but an agreement with that other thread that it's very easy to get your photo taken these days....which can be seen in the photo of a guy who may be taking a photo. (looks like he's texting but you get the idea).

Wright is old enough to drink. There's no indication that anything got out of hand.

This isn't Grant Roberts with a bong. It's a couple of guys at a party after a game.

Compared to some of the things out there on the web, this is rather quaint.

Still, the point is well taken that famous or semi-famous people shouldn't get into compromising positions with strangers these days, because anyone (and almost everyone) can take pix via cell phone.

Googling "Sonia Lo Duca," the Wifey Watch thread comes up fifth.

I'm going to be nailed pretty soon.

Wow! If there was a Wifey Watch thread "back in the day" it would have lured Jackie McReynolds here.

Not what I was going for at all. The point is that anyone with a cell phone can easily advance an agenda by creating a "compromising situation" where none never existed.

I think the nature of the term "compromising" is in disagreement here.

I think the term by it's very nature suggest not that somebody is necessarily doing something bad, but that somebody is made vulnerable.

True. But a photograph isn't likely to get you in trouble unless it shows you doing something bad.

If Cliff Floyd's wife is going to get angry if she sees a photo of him with his arm around two young blondes, that's a compromising photo.

If, instead, she says, "I know Cliff is faithful, and he's just taking a picture with some fans" then it's not compromising.

If he's made vulnerable to a judgment by his wife, which, as far as I know, may go either way, by a stranger with his or her own agenda, I think he's already been compromised, whether his wife (note here: according the the WW thread, she's not his wife, merely his old lady) eventually dismisses the photos or not.

They're having WAY to much fun for a team that's ONLY 8.5 games up.
