My son and I stayed in a Manhattan hotel after Saturday night's Mets game, and I recognized the face on the cover of In New York Magazine, which is one of those hotel-room glossies that help you find expensive places to eat and shop.

Looks like they spent about fifteen hours doing computer work to get that image, and it's still only at about what I would call "vaguely attractive".

Remember that time we discovered that MFS62 actually types "Later" at the end of each post, and it's not just part of his sig? That made me laugh.

That's what makes him smart and sassy. I think it was me who discovered that. One time, his post ended with "LAter" instead of "Later".

I do that frequently with words/sentences that start with a capital letter followed by lower case "a". I'm so caught up in trying to show how smart and sassy I am that I don't wait for my finger to get off the caps key. Since the time you noticed it, I try to catch it and correct it. Silly fingers. As for why I type "later" each time, I explained that is my way of wishing you all will be well and I hope we'll be able to "meet" again on this board. By typing it each time, the thought gets renewed. Later

Maybe it's in the name. Sandra Bullock is okay I guess. But after her, the dropoff is considerable. Oh is tough to look at. So is Bernhardt. In fact, the best of the bunch may well be Her Honor.
