Does this mean the Diamondbacks are going to clean our clocks in the NLCS?

If that happens, at least we'll have clean clocks.

Why the Diamondbacks?

Because the Mets were something like 11-1 against LA in '88 and this year the Mets own the snakes.

I just posted the same answer a second too late. It was actually 10-1.

Yeah, I knew that. But I didn't think that was really the reason.

You come on like a dream, peaches and cream
Lips like strawberry wine
You're sixteen, you're beautiful and you're mine

You're all ribbons and curls, ooh, what a girl
Eyes that sparkle and shine
You're sixteen, you're beautiful and you're mine

You're my baby, you're my pet
We fell in love on the night we met
You touched my hand, my heart went pop
Ooh, when we kissed I could not stop

You walked out of my dreams and into my arms
Now you're my angel divine
You're sixteen, you're beautiful and you're mine

[break]

You're my baby, you're my pet
We fell in love on the night we met
You touched my hand, my heart went pop
Ooh, when we kissed I could not stop

You walked out of my dreams, and into my car
Now you're my angel divine
You're sixteen, you're beautiful, and you're mine
You're sixteen, so beautiful, and you're mine
You're sixteen, you're beautiful, and you're mine
All mine, all mine, all mine
All mine, all mine, all mine

I'll be satisfied with 12 in October.

I think that the last time the Mets went a whole season without a losing month was 1988. (They even had a winning October that year, going 2-0 in the regular season and, sadly, 3-4 in the postseason.
