Jason came across the Baseball America obit of Tom Belcher, described as a onetime Met. My blog partner knows, through his baseball collecting, who every ex-Met is and this name didn't register. Since Tim wasn't mentioned, I assume no. Live and be well, Tim Belcher, but after October 1988, I'll have a hard time mourning you if your time comes before mine.
