I figure this is kind of an influence/follower challenge.

Peggy Sue
That'll Be the Day
Everyday
Rave On
Not Fade Away
Oh, Boy!
Maybe Baby
Words of Love
It's So Easy
Think it Over

All on Greatest Hits.

Coolio. Two nerds with short tight songs..

I figure you could each each put up ten songs and the running time for all 20 coould be less than half an hour.

The problem with this challenge -- appropos as it may be -- is that I love both of these bands.

Being a geek and having iTunes, I put these all in a playlist and the total playing time for 20 songs is 53.9 minutes. They range from "Think it Over" at 1:47 to "Everyday I Write the Book" an epic piece at 3:55.

That'll Be the Day vs. Radio Radio - Tie

Everyday vs. Everyday I Write the Book - Buddy

Rave On vs. Pump It Up - Buddy

Words of Love vs. Oliver's Army - Elvis

Buddy 5.0 - Elvis 5.0

A bunch of these could have gone either way.
Elvis is at a disadvantage by not having his first album included. Buddy is at one for not living to see birthday 22.

I think seawolf, by voting a straight Elvisican ticket, will swing this vote because everyone else is much more centrist.

At this point Elvis would still have a farily comfortable lead even without Seawolf's vote.

Most pre-70s rock that isn't the Beatles kinda bores me. Sorry, Mr. Holly. I know you're a rock legend and all. I apologize.
