Those with good memories will recall that I was laid off from my previous job back in January (on Friday the 13th no less!). Well, I'm happy to say a new offer has come my way. The new job starts a week from Monday. Interestingly, I've heard that one should expect/anticipate about six months being unemployed. My start date will be three days shy of six months.

I spent three months unemployed once, and it was the worst three months of my life. Good luck at the new place.

I spent 3 months unemployed once -- 4 times in a row!! (Unlucky enough to be laid off a week before 9-11/lucky enough to have hated the job so much I considered it a blessing)
