The series from hell for Mets fans. We came, they saw, they kicked our asses.
The Red Sox set the tone for the series early in this one. The hammered Soler early and often. Had this game been a prize fight, the umpires would have stopped it after the fifth inning.
This game was sponsored by Samuel Adams Boston Lager. After a beating like this, The team will need a lot of beers to help them forget this one. Someone best pour Milledge's beer in a plastic sippy cup, since he'll likely drop it.
