Just when you thought it couldn't get worse, it did. This game was brutal from the outset. Pedro must be glad that they still liked him in Boston or he would have never gotten out of Fenway alive. He barely did as it was. Pedro lasted only 3 innings before mercifully being removed from the game. The rest of the team wasn't faring much better.
The Mets hit two more solo home runs to go with the three the day before. Still they were never really in either game.
This is another game best forgotten. So down several of these 
and take 2 of these
, and live to cheer on the Mets another day.
