Returning to Shea didn't change the Mets fortunes. The continued their poor play of late and took another shellacking, this time at the hands of the lowly Pirates.
This performance was scarcely worthy of beer, but our sponsor would be upset if we didn't pass his generous contribution on to the team. So, in honor of the POTG, a cooler of Iron City awaits the team. I've never been that fond of Iron City, but they just love the stuff in Pittsburgh.
