I missed Tuesday's all-staff meeting. Apparently they announced an end-of-fiscal-year bonus for everybody and I found a thousand dollar check in my in-box today. Waddayado when you're sticking with a job you hate only 'cause it pays you more than you deserve?

Waddayado when you're sticking with a job you hate only 'cause it pays you more than you deserve? Start job hunting. You may find that it's not really more than you deserve, and that a place that you like better may be willing to pay you a similar amount.

Well, it's more than I deserve because, you know, I hate it. Yeah, I've got some shopping to do. I should be delighted right now and I'm not.

Well, I'm not asking what to do with the money, but what to do with the job. The money's already spent on cocaine. No worries there.

Start job hunting, I can't imagine going to work at a job I hate, I've done it before and it's torture.
