Same Old Song and Dance Van Halen Everybody Wants Some v. Train Kept a Rollin Aerosmith Runnin with the Devil v. Rats in the Cellar Van Halen And the Cradle Will Rock v. Toys in the Attic Van Halen The post-drugs Aerosmith songs are sort of like the Sammy Hagar-era Van Halen songs. Seriously underrated, and likely to win votes. There are a lot of good songs there. Aerosmith, 7-3.

Panama vs. Sweet Emotion Aerosmith --Wow, VH puts up a good fight but this one is still Aerosmith Finish What Ya Started v. Love in an Elevator --Two examples of extreme shark-jumping. Ugly. Tie. Unchained v. Walk This Way --Upset for VH! You Really Got Me v. Mama Kin --tie Dance the Night Away v. Same Old Song and Dance --Van Halen Everybody Wants Some v. I kinda wanted to see how this one played out. I should have thrown my 10-0 vote in there (I wouldn't have put the songs up that way if I didn't think they were better than the VH ten), dammit. Doc breaks the tie with his last vote. Interesting.

In this rematch, Van Halen prevails 41.5-38.5 with my vote of 6.5-3.5 being the difference maker. In the first match up, Aerosmith won by a 51-50 count, with seawolf's 9-1 vote providing the victory. Should these two bands ever square off again, I suggest we both refrain from voting and let the people decide it once and for all.
