1st inning was a good start as Maine gets em 1-2-3, on 6 pitches. Reyes Ks, LoDuca lines out to left and Beltran lines out to right center in the Mets half. Muggy out--should be a good night for hitters. 0-0 after one.

i thought i remembered an interview with maine where he talked about how he didnt have a ton of velocity and had to really be a control artist, but it looks like he can hit the mid 90's nowadays. maybe he made some changes to his motion or somethin.
