Wow, at last tonight I can sleep knowing this

I don;t mind knowing this.

I prefer the uniform combination thread myself. I don't really care how many wins they have for each combo, but I do like knowing how often each is worn.

This tally, however, means less than nothing to me.

This is a good start, but if we're going to have any sort of meaningful analysis from this, we need to know pitching matchups, how the team is hitting etc. Like with pitchers, win/loss record is an imperfect way to judge IGT thread starting statistics. We need degree of difficulty...not all IGT"s are created equal.

Without this analysis, we will never be able to ascertain the impact of the IGT thread author on the outcome of the game.

We also have to factor in the interval between the initiation of the thread and the scheduled/actual start of the game. Is it better to start the thread six hours before the game with a Billy Joel song, or to wait until 30 minutes before with a simple posting of the starting lineup?

Apparently KC needs to keep starting IGT's.

I shall hereby refrain frm starting any more this season.

I vote the latter.

Speak for yourself. I already have my alarm set for 12:01 tomorrow morning so I can beat Steve to it

If I'm the sane one around here, then we're all in trouble ;)

I'd try and expand on my 2-0 record, but IGTs are starting like six hours early these days.

It's my fault, I guess, for starting the first one five months early.

HA! I reinstituted (though I'm starting to wonder if I should be instituionlized) JD's IGT mojo theory, so expect IGT sometime before the game on Tuesday, probably 10 minutes before depending on how far along my Excel class is going

And yes, Billy Joel's Lite FM side is returning!

"Don't go changing to try and please me..."

Well, I promise never, EVER, even as a CPF Song Parody Challenge song, to use "Just The Way You Are"
