Watch the pennant races as they unfold: [url]http://www.baseballrace.com/default.asp

1969 is particularly fun. :)

Some of the older ones are fun: the team designations on the standings are not always right; for instance it looks like the Oakland A's won the AL flag in 1914

Yeah, would it have been that hard to make the historical teams right? I don't want to watch the 2000 wildcard race with Washington in it.

The race is set properly, but the standings on the right have the current name for the team. This is still a beta version, and I suspect they'll be told about the issue.

Watch 1967 AL.

That was a great one. My only problem with it was slowing it down enough.

Just a great pennant race: going into the final day, three teams were in it: Red Sox and Twins tied (and playing each other), and the Tigers a half game back (and playing a double header). I watched the Red Sox on TV that weekend and saw Yazstremski and Lomborg pull it out.

The 1964 NL is sweet. The Giants and Phils jockey. Phils pull away but then collapse at the end. You see San Francisco trying to take advantage, but you almost never see the Cards coming.

Try 1914 in the NL (and 1951 if you can stand it).
