I'm not blue,
We won two,
But there ain't no way we'll ever win 'em all dude
So don't be sad
Cause two out of three ain't bad.
Now don't be sad
Cause two out of three ain't bad.

The Mets hopes for a sweep of the Astros came up a little short. With Roy Oswalt, one of the best pitcher's in the league, on the mound for Houston our prospects didn't look that good going into this game. Carlos Delgado's three run blast in the first inning got the Mets off to a promising start. And though the Mets had numerous chances, they were never able to get another big hit to knock Oswalt and the Astros out of this game.

Though the Mets lost today, there were some encouraging signs to take home from this game. It's good to see Carlos Delgado starting to swing the bat better in this series. Cliff Floyd's resurgence continues after his slow start. Things are looking good for the offense.

So don't worry about a sweep that didn't happen. Instead pour yourself a frosty mug of Corolla Gold Helles Lager and savor yet another series victory for the Mets. Cause two out of three ain't bad!
