A little late getting this one in, but I opted for bed last night over posting the POTG poll. Better late, than never I guess. The Mets jumped out to a very quick 6-0 lead, then held on for the victory as Florida kept pecking away at their lead. The Mets had 12 hits, all singles, in the game. Luckily, they squeezed 8 of those hits and 2 walks into the first three innings. After that, the hits were hard to come by. The pitching did just enough to hold off the Marlins hopes for a comeback victory.

The Schaefer poll didn't get started until today either. A lazy day yesterday at the CPF.

I slacked off and chose a restful night of sleep over posting the POTG Poll lastnight. I feel so ashamed, yet remarkably rested.

I don't know how you got to sleep under those circumstances.

Sometimes, not being able to actually watch a Mets games can be a blessing. That game was one such occasion.
