This proves Trachsel’s efficiency on the mound, his ability to go out there and get a win quickly. Why pitch 7, and tire out your arm, when you can throw into the 6th and get the win? This not only demonstrates Trachsel’s precision but also a superior intelligence to Zambrano who pitches well into the 7th. hahaha

The saitre is welcome, but (1) is Trachsel really striking out only 2.9 batters per nine? and (2) does he really believe that number-four starters face number-four starters?

I hope after 2010 when the Mets have won 4 of the last 5 World Series that Mets fans are still able to keep perspective and don't sound as ridiculous as Yankees fans in matters such as these.
