I'd go with the "hell, no!" option too. Incredibly, Wells can still sometimes come up with some good outings, but he's just as likely to suffer a reoccurance of his back/knee/gout problems too. Or say something stupid. Or do something stupid. I appreciated the ways that he helped the Yankees to win, and his Perfect Game was awesome, but he was always one of my least favorite Yankees.

this team, as edgy has pointed out, has an abundance of medioxre starting pitching. Any trade for or signing of a pitcher that isn't a clear #2 or 3 on this staff is a waste of prospects and/or money.
