James had two seasons and two title theme songs, each one rockin' more than the other. The theme from "James at 15" was by England Freakin' Dan and John Ford Freakin' Coley He ain't got no walkin' stick Ten other things I remember about James. 1) James had a black friend named Sly who would give him advice, which he called his "Sly-chology." My friends, by comparison, sucked.

That's the one episode I remember from that series. I also recall that in that second season, the graphix on the show opening read James at 15 and then crossed out the 15 and wrote 16. I remember the England Dan song too.

Lucky bastard. I have no recollection of this show at all. Never heard of it a-once.

He wasn't all that lucky, considering the syphilis and all.

I believe he also once got to second base with Laura Ingalls blind big sister. I was reminded he ran away from his new home to see her only to find she had a new boyfriend, prompting a dream sequence.

I had a serious little-kid crush on Kim Richards.

In a Scandanavian inspiration, the producers actually cast a Norweigian born actress, Kirsten Butler, as the Swedish exchange student.

Lance Kirwin today is a 46-year-old recovering crack-smoker who counsels wayward younguns in the ways of JC.

The movie that kept HBO in business throughout the 80's.

1) I can't believe there's an in-depth discussion going on concerning 'James at 15', a TV show that may have been not only the worst TV show of all time but possibly also the most pretentious.
2) I'm surprised that there's a call for counseling teens in the ways of John Cougar

You left out the Witch Mountain movies, Hello Larry, Devil Dog: The Hound of Hell, and Tuff Turf. Man, do we need to get to 14 fast.

If things go well today we'll leap right over 14 and get to lucky number 13.

Do you recall the Mary Ingalls dream sequence? He's running to her in slow motion, and she's looking all dreamy and delicious and running toward him, only as they meet she passes him right by! Damn you, Mary Ingalls!! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELLLLLL!!!!!!!Q

I sense a thread split to the NBF is in order.

Lance also appeared on Little House, where presumably Mary damned him to Hell as well.

What a remarkably lame web site -- and it links to the Chris Makepeace page.

Tonight on VH1, my husband was watching a show about kid stars and Lance Kerwin was one of them. He's on the first episode of five, in case anyone wants to see him now

I don't have cable tv and even I have seen that VH-1 special on child stars so I assume they replay it a lot.
