Why on earth would you put Hernandez in the 2 hole? I'm a little surprised that Willie's benching Wright, who, after all, had a day off yesterday.

I agree. I'd much rather see Stinnett than DiFelice. And I'd prefer Edgardo Alfonzo over Anderson Hernandez, but I'm clearly not going to get my way on that one.

Braves announcers on the foul pop up that Mr Franco couldnt get to: "How can the Mets be rewarded when one of their own fans interferes with the play?" I have to turn the sound down. Well, that call did help Perez out of that inning.

Perez does have a lil something there that resembles a mustache. He must have grown that last inning in the dugout. He sure is getting some breaks as LaRoche lines out to first, Aybar caught frozen off the bag and its a easy DP.

HAHA! I was just thinking, nice to finally follow a September loss to the Braves with a couple of wins! Not to mention how nice it feels not to feel the need to smash things after the Mets LOSE a September game to the Braves! Was also thinking that this series had all the potential to be a litmus test when the season began. Well, it was For the Braves who still have fading hopes of the Wild Card! HEHEHE!

Andy Handy is hitting .120 now, .103 career. That's still eight points better than Pedro Martinez, so fear not. That said, I have no problem putting him in the two-hole. Clearly, they're trying to get the guy going.

Just to recall, this man gave up 12 hits (and seven runs) in three innings his last start, throwing 96 pitches. Wow.
