That just makes me think about how much better Jose Reyes is going to be once he learns how to really play the game. He's a terrific player now based on raw skill and talent. Once he has a couple more years of mistakes and experience to learn by...the sky's the limit.

TransMonk Sep 08 2006 08:36 PM |
Woody and Milledge don't give me anymore confidence against lefties than Valentin and Chavez.

Valadius Sep 08 2006 09:09 PM |
Since you couldn't get sound Zvon, you probably missed it - for the 7th inning stretch I posted that clip, which starts with Mr. Met leading "Take Me Out to the Ballgame".
Valadius Sep 08 2006 09:15 PM |
Shuttlebus is dominant tonight.
Zvon Sep 08 2006 09:17 PM |

Valadius Sep 08 2006 09:30 PM |
Come on Sidewinder!
Zvon Sep 08 2006 09:31 PM |
It would have. Bradford pitches well in his 62nd appearence this season. And the Mets have 1 inning left to pull off some magic.
Edgy DC Sep 08 2006 09:33 PM |
Hey, Paul Lo Duca. Get on base.

I just watched the Bugs cartoon.
Johnny Dickshot Sep 08 2006 10:55 PM |
That game pretty much sucked live too. LIke I was peeing yesterday, the Mets aren't always going to get away making shitty plays, no matter how often they do. That whole first inning oughta be a do-over, first with the crappy fielding, then with Reyes' absurd steal attempt. I don;t care if he was safe, or looked safe dumb dumb dumb if you don;t make it.
cooby Sep 08 2006 11:04 PM |
LIke I was peeing yesterday
Johnny Dickshot Sep 08 2006 11:07 PM |
I peed on yesterday's win because it contained some of the same goofs that would cost us tonight, and said so.
Gwreck Sep 08 2006 11:14 PM |
What a stinking pile of shit. Dodger fans in my section too. Insult to injury, walking home across the Pulaski Bridge we get caught as the bridge goes up.
Johnny Dickshot Sep 08 2006 11:16 PM |
I was on the B61 stuck at the drawbridge!
Gwreck Sep 08 2006 11:23 PM |
I was the guy in the Wright jersey, blue hat.
Johnny Dickshot Sep 08 2006 11:56 PM |
I always get off at Court Square, but mostly because I can't wait to get off the train (this is only worth the effort in you're in the very 1st train car btw). Lucky tonight in that the bus was only a minute from arriving -- can be as many as 13 or 15.
