House -- WTF?!?

So after two seasons of Dr. House being a limping, Vicodin-addicted, anti-social grump, we're supposed to buy the notion that some experimental treatment for a gunshot wound has suddenly turned him into a sunny-dispositioned jogger with a newly found outlook on life? As I was watching it I found myself half-hoping it was a dream/hallucination sequence because it's all too far-fetched and I don't like where this story line seems to be heading (not that I expect it to stay that way) ... and half-hoping it wasn't because I hate it when TV pulls out cheesy dream plots.

This is why I stopped watching "House" after the first season.....
