Howdy, folks! Long time, no see! Or write. Or read. Or whatever...

Anyways, I'm back on the forums. A lot of catching up to do I bet. Anybody care to fill me in?

I know! I have been reveling in it all season long!!! I swear, my mental image of this season has been me laying in a hammock on a warm summer day, without a care in the world, smiling my ass off as I make a silent toast to the Mets with a glass of lemonade. Just fantastic.

Me too-- after sixty days in South America. Good to see the Mets and the Pool still taking no prisoners!

Actually, I don't think I've been around since the beginning of the year. So it's been a long, long while. A lot has happened. My second semester at GW, my internship, my trips to North Carolina and Italy... a lot of stuff.

Valadius, welcome back. You've been sorely missed. It's like you were down in the minors all season and only now are back as a September callup. I'd fire the GM for letting you rot down in triple-A, especially with the forum struggling.

The forum's been struggling? What's been going on?

I'm glad to be back. I've got a lot to talk about, to be sure. Where to begin...

Well, my second semester at GW saw me really crack the books. I didn't do so well my first semester, so that kind of put me in crisis mode the whole time, to bring my grades up. I ended up doing all right in the end. I had to write huge papers at a frenetic pace towards the end of the semester, but I did well on them, so that was worth it.

My sister had her bat mitzvah on May 13. I had to rush home on the 12th on the train - that was the day of my last final.

I had a great internship this summer, working on Sen. Bob Menendez's campaign. I worked in the research department, which was a fantastic experience. Some of my research has made headlines, which is awesome.

I went to Italy for a week in August - four days in Rome, four days in Venice. It was AMAZING. Living in the US, you don't really get a sense of just how LONG people have been around, and how long people have been using the same streets, the same buildings, the same squares. It's unbelievable.

Well, now I'm back at GW. Classes started today, and it is POURING in DC. I'll do more elaboration on what I've been up to later.

Good school, GW.
Got my Masters at the B-School there.

Have you been back lately? The brand-spanking-new Business School building is an absolute marvel.

It's just been rather slow this summer unlike last season when you and a handful of other new members breathed new life into the forum. Now people register with the Crane Pool and don't post anything or if they do it's spam.

Well that's no good. I've got plenty of stuff to post, so hopefully it won't be as slow here.
