There wasn't much to like about last night's game. If you didn't see last night's game, consider yourself lucky.

Steve Trachsel either couldn't (or wouldn't) throw strikes last night as he issued 7 free passes in less that 5 innings. He pitched like he was expecting the barrage of run support he is accustomed to receiving. Unfortunately, the Mets offense was virtually non-existent. Braves starter, Chuck James, held the Mets to a lone single over eight innings. The one hit shut out was the first time the Mets had been held scoreless in a home game this season. Hopefully, it will be the last.

All I can say to the team is, "No beer for you!" The best I can do is a case of IBC Root Beer.
