I think I'd be willing to see this movie if somebody paid me A THOUSAND DOLLARS.

$999.99 wouldn't get it done.

Not that I would see this movie either, but I'm seriously puzzled by the timing of its release. It's an animated kiddie film - why wasn't it out over the summer, when families were looking for things to do and kids didn't have homework, fall sports, etc. going on?

Yeah, CLEARLY thats Memorial Day Weekend as well

Probably since the story involves the World Series they wanted to tie it in, maybe Fox is planning something to tie it in if the MFY get that far. Like this time the hero has to find Jeter's lucky bat or something

I read a review of the movie in the paper yesterday. The kid's name is actually "Yankee."

The baseball has the voice of Rob Reiner and Babe Ruth's bat has the voice of Whoopi Goldberg.

Maybe I need to up my price to $1,500.
