WTF? I turned on the Philly Fox affiliate, expecting to check in on the Philly/Houston game. What are they showing? The MFY's! Even though the Philly/Houston game was listed in the listings, the Philadelphia fans can't watch their team play this afternoon. It's madness!

On Edit - never mind. The Philly game is getting underway, and that's what's on the Philly Fox channel right now.

Did they show the Yankee pregame and then switch to Astros-Phillies?

I have the game on and I'm having a hard time remembering that I want the Phillies to win.

The game looked to have started when I checked in.

I get both the NY and Philly stations where I live. Even though I'm not tied to the tube this afternoon, I enjoy it when I can get different games on the different affiliates.

Still zip-nada between Philly and the 'Stros.

Scoreless after six.

Doesn't anyone want to win this game?

Apparently David Dellucci wants to win - his solo homer makes it 1-0 Phillies in the 7th.

Philly 3, Houston 0.

ScarletKnight41

Now it's 3-0 Phillies, and the top of the 7th is still going on.

It looks like the Mets' fate will be in their own hands tonight.

Philly tacks on another run.

You folks are neglecting to mention that Cole Hamels has a no-hitter going thru 6

Now 4-0 Phils, top 7

Honestly, I didn't notice. I was just looking at the runs column.

So much for the no-no. It ends on an Adam Everett RBI dobule that drove in Jason Lane, who had walked.

4-1 now.

Philly tacks on two more in the 8th to make it 6-1. Cole Hamels is batting for himself in the inning.

ScarletKnight41

Make that 7-1 Philly, in the bottom of the 8th.

The Phillies are taking a 7-2 lead to the 9th inning.

This works out - today is my friend's birthday, and to celebrate she and her family drove to Pittsburgh with plans to attend tonight's game. Her big hope was that Philly would win so that she could be there to see the Mets clinch and celebrate tonight. Let's hope she gets that birthday wish :)

7-2 Philly is your final.

The Mets' fate is in their own hands tonight.

This avoids the possible suckitude situation of Mets clinching via a Philly loss and then going out and losing tonight.
The players would deserve to have a celebration after their own game tonight no matter what happens, but it would suck to do so after dropping two straight.

A Philly loss/Met win wouldn't be as good as clinching it on their own - but it's a lot better than a loss/loss deal, even though they're far enough ahead that none of these situations deserves to have the "they backed in" charges start to be thrown around.

I'm psyched!

Sunday morning baseball for me tomorrow a.m.!

What time will you be watching the game tomorrow morning, Yancy?

Yancy Street Gang

I'll probably get started between 6:30 and 7 a.m.

If you decide to drop by, no need to bring breakfast. I've got plenty of Pop-Tarts.

Not the kind with the frosting, I hope. I'm an unfrosted strawberry or blueberry Pop Tarts fan myself.

Playing center field for the Milwaukee Brewers tonight, Tony Gwynn, Jr.

Any fellow insomniacs out there? Colorado & Arizona are tied at 6 in the bottom of the 15th inning.

The Snakes win on a walk-off sac fly in the 16th. One of these days there's going to be an historic 35+ inning game and I'm going to see it. For now I have to find other ways to pass the time until I feel sleepy.
