Rightly so. It was really a perfect pickoff throw. Comeon Lastings. Swings at crap-pops out. Stinnett up-- (Willie and his silly plan-- LoDuca should be in there.) Wright steals second.

TransMonk Sep 17 2006 03:21 PM |
I was 1.4 seconds from posting the same thing.
Edgy DC Sep 17 2006 03:21 PM |
Milledge should be playing against lefties every day until the end of the season.
Zvon Sep 17 2006 03:22 PM |
Ill take that lil squibbly hit by Milledge.
TransMonk Sep 17 2006 03:23 PM |
Who'll love LoDuca, who'll sing his song? I will love LoDuca and his song!

TheOldMole Sep 17 2006 03:30 PM |
What's Reyes doing taking a called 3rd strike?
Zvon Sep 17 2006 03:31 PM |
Chavez almost gets his 4th hit of the day--but no go.
TransMonk Sep 17 2006 03:33 PM |
Duke should be done for the day at least. Two innings against the Bucs' bullpen.
Zvon Sep 17 2006 03:33 PM |
It was a pitchers pitch. On the black, inside tight at the knees.
Valadius Sep 17 2006 03:39 PM |
Freaking Duffy!
Valadius Sep 17 2006 03:41 PM |
Could we see Humber for once?

TheOldMole Sep 17 2006 03:43 PM |
Nady should be encouraged. Buccos have some players to build a team on.
Valadius Sep 17 2006 03:44 PM |

Valadius Sep 17 2006 03:46 PM |

SteveJRogers Sep 17 2006 03:50 PM |
Valadius Sep 17 2006 03:51 PM |
Bench the Carloses, Willie. Just bench them. Maybe then they'll have some motivation not to get out all the damn time.
Valadius Sep 17 2006 03:52 PM |
Now hopefully Dumbo doesn't screw this up.
Edgy DC Sep 17 2006 03:52 PM |
Wright tagging a lefty.
Valadius Sep 17 2006 03:54 PM |
And Dumbo fucked it up.
Valadius Sep 17 2006 04:00 PM |
At this point, I wouldn't be averse to the thought of Willie running out there to pinch-hit if it meant that we'd score some damn runs.
Zvon Sep 17 2006 04:00 PM |
Well, we all know, for us Met fans,......
TransMonk Sep 17 2006 04:02 PM |
Alright!
Valadius Sep 17 2006 04:04 PM |
I will be angry if Willie doesn't pinch-hit for Stinnett.
Zvon Sep 17 2006 04:04 PM |
Good idea Milledge--swing at the 1st pitch--UGH!
Valadius Sep 17 2006 04:06 PM |
Thugmaster at the plate.
TransMonk Sep 17 2006 04:07 PM |
Holy crap! Ledee got a hit!
Valadius Sep 17 2006 04:07 PM |
Thank you, Thugmaster!!!
Edgy DC Sep 17 2006 04:08 PM |
Boogers.
Valadius Sep 17 2006 04:08 PM |
And Jose fucks it all up. Sigh...
Zvon Sep 17 2006 04:09 PM |
Well Ill be darned.
Yancy Street Gang Sep 17 2006 04:15 PM |
If I'm managing against the Mets in the NLDS, every game will be started by a lefty. Even if I have to press an outfielder into service.
Valadius Sep 17 2006 04:16 PM |
Farmer Ted Sep 17 2006 08:05 PM |
Just back from PNC and I have to say, it sucked. They played like shit. I admit, since buying the tix a few weeks ago, we were hoping this would be clinch day. The losses the past two nights, coupled with Philly's wins, put smiles on our faces. A bit selfish, but this could've been a special day.
ScarletKnight41 Sep 17 2006 09:07 PM |
They've definitely looked around PNC in the past, and have used it as something of a model for the new stadium. Rightfully so - it's my favorite park.
cleonjones11 Sep 17 2006 10:48 PM |
Our family rates heavy Pennsylvania people by Hershey kisses. Very obese is 5 kisses for example. Actually the entire USA is at about 3 1/2 kisses.
Johnny Dickshot Sep 17 2006 10:52 PM |
Hey Ted, Wifey wants to know if you brought Little Sponge-ette along.

cleonjones11 Sep 17 2006 10:52 PM |
Shawn Green needs his steroids back.

Gwreck Sep 18 2006 01:11 AM |
The guy from SNY was putting in Keith's order at Primanti's when we were getting our sandwiches there this afternoon.
Edgy DC Sep 18 2006 09:03 AM |
I assume Floyd was being held to pinch-hit for Chavez if Reyes got on and they needed a three-run crown. But, yeah, Willie always seems under-aggressive when it comes to ninth-inning catch-up substituting.
Farmer Ted Sep 18 2006 09:29 AM |
Yeah, we took Baby Ted. She's almost a year old so this was a big measuring stick for us. We bought three seats knowing we'd need the extra space...that was a good call. She was grumpy for the first inning so I put her in the Bjorn and walked along the concourse so she could sleep and I could still watch the game. I spent the first four innings on my feet but it was cool. After that, she sat in her seat, ate snacks and played with her Pirate Parrot doll (it was giveaway day). We started leaving after the Mets 8th and watched the final six outs on the exting concourse. It was a good day but I could see how brutal it could have been if she was younger. Weather was great. We'll send the Dickshots some snapshots.
ScarletKnight41 Sep 18 2006 09:50 AM |
Younger is easier. Once they can move around on their own is when things become trickier.
cooby Sep 18 2006 11:22 AM |
That is the same game we were going to go to and didn't. That is funny, there would have been a whole mess of us there
Edgy DC Sep 18 2006 11:29 AM |
Is "mess" the actual correct collective noun for Cranepoolers?
cooby Sep 18 2006 11:30 AM |
I think so, yes
