Has anybody ever seen the ad where the lady is at a wedding reception talking to another couple about the gifts, and the couple says "We got them a blah blah blah pan" and after they step away she sneaks the pan out to the caterer's kitchen and braises a steak to try it out?
The cook says "May I help you?" and shes says "No, but have you seen this pan?"

Does anybody know what the pan is called? I think it begins with a C and it is a funny word. I want to get my husband one.

Thanks!

I've never seen the commercial, but if you saw it, and liked it, and are interested in buying the product but you can't remember the name of the product, then the commercial didn't really do its job.

I haven't seen it in a year! That's the problem!

It was on the Food Channel

While trying to play a video a friend sent me, I accidentally downloaded a search bar called Zango. I do not want Zango. I do not want it here nor there. I do not wnat it anywhere.

But I can't delete it. When I located it in my Applicaiton Data folder, I tried to delete it, and it gave me an error message reading "Error Deleting File or Folder: Cannot delete btntrans.idx:Access is denied."

Denied? By my own comp? Bite me.

How do I shed this thing?

Does anybody know of a website that lists every single NFL player that ever played? It's kinda urgent.

www.pro-football-reference.com

I think that's it, but the security software on this business PC I'm using blocked the site, so I couldn't verify it for ya'.

I'm pretty sure it was called "Robo" because this was this player's nickname and it was about his anger issues while playing (roids?). I looked all through those players (thanks MFS) for someone that could have a nickname like that.

It makes me mad because I'm pretty sure I found it a few weeks ago and left it go until I needed it.

We saw a clip about it on tv. (PTI?)

Glad you found the right player, because I found this guy:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Johnson_(football_player)
His nickname really was ROBO.

Ah. I had turned up Rob Johnson on the Robo search, since Wikipedia lists his nickname as Robo-sack.

Yes, I found Rob Johnson too and thought that was it! because he was a Raider and my husband likes them but it just fizzled out as a search.

If he played football in England he'd be Robo-bollocks.

Yes, my husband's birthday is on Halloween and my kids are looking for gift ideas...

Also I am getting him a Steelers jersey, haven't decided who yet, but I want to make up my mind on that today too.

Does anyone know of any really great websites that discuss the collapse of the Negro Leagues after the integration of the Major Leagues? I'm looking for .gov, .org and .net sites, although I won't rule out a truly great .com resource.

I'm doing a decent job of creating my Webliography on my own, but I figured I'd see whether you knowledgeable people had some good suggestions.

Thanks.

I must be loosing my mind.

I could have sworn I said something about checking the HOF site, maybe they have something you could use.

Anyway, have you checked the HOF site? Maybe they have something you can use.

ScarletKnight41

I have checked, although they didn't have much about the demise of the Negro Leagues. But I did look around there - thanks :)

Scarlet, try this one (scroll down a bit).

http://www.dickiethon.com/omnibus/

It was written by a sometimes CPF-er who I'm pretty sure looks at our site more frequently than he contributes.

You'll also find a lot of stuff written by our own Scrapple8.

There was (yeah I know big help I'm being) a listserv based out of Miami of Ohio's listserver called Shadball (Shadowball) or something along that line. I guess I joined after it demised as a viable mailing list discussion group because its been pretty cobwebby for many years. (spam posts every now and then show up, ect)

Maybe do a google search of "Shadow Ball" and whatever happened to it will pop up.

ScarletKnight41

I'm Googling. I'm Dogpiling. I'll hit Vivisimo next.

Ideally, I'd love to find resources with .gov or .org or .edu domains. The more academic, the better for this project.

Thanks Steve. Unfortunately, that site is a bit light on my specific topic, which is what happened to the Negro Leagues following the integration of the Major Leagues. However, the link to SABR.org from that site was very helpful - there was some good information there.
