I don't know what the hell your talking about. And no I won't kiss your ass.

Here was my theory on why she remained hidden:

There was a mixup at the sperm clinic and Suri was obviously of mixed race, thereby proving that Tom was not the father and still has not ever had sex with a female.

The photo I saw of Suri doesn't seem to support my theory, however.

She is very cute...I fear for her though,Tom is a wacko.

Why is she wearing an Elvis wig?

Ah celbrity gossip. Now I know what you're talking about.

I shall begin ignoring this topic now.

Put me down with Willets regarding this subject. I really am not interested in the particulars of Tom Cruise and his life with Kate Holmes or their baby Suri. As long as Suri's healthy, then I'm satisfied and wish to hear no more on the subject.

I am in awe.
Too bad that gem was in this forum. Not many will ever bask in its brilliance.

A song from Oklahoma"

When I take you out, tonight, with me,
Honey, here's the way it's goin' to be:
You will set behind a team of snow white horses,
In the slickest gig you ever see!

Chicks and ducks and geese better scurry
When I take you out in the surrey,
When I take you out in the surrey with the fringe on top!
Watch that fringe and see how it flutters
When I drive them high steppin' strutters.
Nosey pokes'll peek thru' their shutters and their eyes will pop!
The wheels are yeller, the upholstery's brown,
The dashboard's genuine leather,
With isinglass curtains y' can roll right down,
In case there's a change in the weather.
Two bright sidelight's winkin' and blinkin',
Ain't no finer rig I'm a-thinkin'
You c'n keep your rig if you're thinkin' 'at I'd keer to swap
Fer that shiny, little surrey with the fringe on the top!
All the world'll fly in a flurry
When I take you out in the surrey,
When I take you out in the surrey with the fringe on top!
When we hit that road, hell fer leather,
Cats and dogs'll dance in the heather,
Birds and frogs'll sing all together and the toads will hop!
The wind'll whistle as we rattle along,
The cows'll moo in the clover,
The river will ripple out a whispered song,
And whisper it over and over:
Don't you wisht y'd go on forever?
Don't you wisht y'd go on forever?
Don't you wisht y'd go on forever and ud never stop
In that shiny, little surrey with the fringe on the top!
I can see the stars gettin' blurry,
When we drive back home in the surrey,
Drivin' slowly home in the surrey with the fringe on top!
I can feel the day gettin' older,
Feel a sleepy head on my shoulder,
Noddin', droopin' close to my shoulder, till it falls kerplop!
The sun is swimmin' on the rim of a hill;
The moon is takin' a header,
And jist as I'm thinkin' all the earth is still,
A lark'll wake up in the medder.
Hush, you bird, my baby's a-sleepin'!
Maybe got a dream worth a-keepin'
Whoa! you team, and jist keep a-creepin' at a slow clip clop.
Don't you hurry with the surrey with the fringe on the top!

Okay, I think the baby is cute, but that hair has got to go, it's the pits.

My daughter was in the high school production of Oklahoma! last year, so the song came to mind pretty easily.

Doesn't newborn baby hair usually fall out?

ScarletKnight41
Sep 13 2006 10:26 PM

That's not newborn hair - that kid is something like 5 months old.

I;m not into celebs at all either, which is why I think the BigShots thread is pointless, but anyway, I am finding Anna Nicole Smith's son's death very very sad.

The Big Shot thread is not about celebrity gossip. It's not even about celbrities. I still don't know who Michael Vartan is.

It's about the cultural takeover.

There are way too many celebrities today to know them all, or even 20 per cent of them.

I don't seek out celebrity gossip, but I don't have the aversion to it that others seem to have. I pick up stuff by osmosis by flipping through the Daily News. And I guess being a regular viewer of David Letterman has made me aware of many celebrities that I wouldn't otherwise have known.

It's like those statistics you see sometimes about how some people get most of their news from late night talk show hosts. I get my real news from newspapers and NPR, and my celebrity news from David Letterman.

SteveJRogers

Reality TV, and even the internet I think has really raised the scale of gossip and celebrity making. To the point where there is probably now AA and AB list celebs!

The scary part is how many faux celebs try to play their 15 minutes card on things.

Even sports players. I mean the actual 25th guy on the 2004 Red Sox probably really believes he'll get drinks on the house for life in New England! Probably will, but 15 years from now it will require prodding, ID and a trip to a reference book!

I like to be like Sherlock Holmes who deliberately forgets facts that are not relevant to his work and hobbies so they don't take up to much space in his mind. It doesn't work though as I can't remember my wife's cell phone number but will remember the name of the Cruise child forevermore thanks to Scarlett's pun.

Edgy DC
Sep 14 2006 10:55 AM

Yeah, well, it's not like Holmes ever became much of a violin player.

Sherlock Holmes?

My guess is that kid will grow up to be one amazing-looking, crazy person.
