I find myself reflective on Smoltz tonight, easier to do taking this punishment when it doesn't matter. What a pitcher (that f*^&%$#@ pain in the ass) has been.

Never mind Smoltz or Perez, we've screwed ourselves in this game. First and 3rd, nobody out, 3-4-5 due up and you fail to score, 1st inning on the road, you deserve a 5-0 fat lip.

I suppose I could dig up the confessions thread and give a yay to Smoltz ... I was thinking about him and I found metirish bringing it up here is all I meant. (edited for clarity)

I like Smoltz, even though he's a Brave he never came across as a bollox to me.

It seems to me that when the Mets sucked the last few years this place was busy,now that we are going to the dance no one is here.....WTF took the Braves so long to pick up the $8 million option on Smoltz.....that's a steal.
