The Difference

When playing a crappy 4th place team from their own division...

The Yankees crush the opposition with a barrage of hits and runs.

The Mets loses miserably.

The Yankees are going to go 11-1 in the postseason and the Mets 0-3, I know it. Life sucks.

(Forgive me I went to Yankee Stadium tonight, I still feel dirty).

Ye of little faith. Obviously I'd like to see more from the Mets, but what happens this week still means nothing. We can win a division series without Pedro, and probably the NLCS, provided our bats wake up when it matters. I still don't see why that won't happen.

When playing the Wild Card team in the League Divisional Series:

The Mets win when it counts, sweeping their opponent in dominating fashion.

The Yankees vaunted lineup fails to produce and they fall to a more cohesive team in four games.

I love being wrong.

And I love that you were so wrong.

And we all love that you had the reason to love that he was wrong.

There's lots of love to go around today.
