JBReyes

Noticed the box score in the morning paper that Jose Reyes is listed as JBReyes. The Cubs have another Jose Reyes on the roster so our Jose is listed with his middle initial, B (Bernabe). The other Jose's middle name is Ariel. I believe in an instance like this the established, more poplular player shouldn't have to distinguish himself with an initial. It should be up to the new guy to perform well and displace the non-intialized player.

Relax. The guys who publish the newspapers have been doing this for years when there is more than one person in the majors at the same time with the same first and last names.
No big thing.

it could be worse, remember some of the ways that posters used to distinguish between Bobby Jones and Bobby Jones...

And by the way, at yahoo sports Jose is Jose...and the other guy is Jose A...so I guess it just goes by which POV they are using...

The new guy would probably be thrilled to be mistaken for our Jose
