Padres.

Padres. I have a little Cardinal fatigue, and I'd like to see Piazza and Cameron advance to the next round. (And beyond in the horrific event that they end up facing the Dodgers.)

In deference to my 13-year-old, who has rooted for the Cards since he was 5, I have to root for St. Louis.

Pods, for Cammy and Batch. Plus someone new to oppose.

If the Mets manage to advance past the first round, I'd rather face St. Louis, but I picked the Padres.

Cards, man. For selfish reasons: we can slug with anyone, but I'd hate to see us get badly out-pitched.

Padres. As long as he's not facing the Mets, I have to root for Piazza.

Hadn't really thought about a rooting interest here.

Padres. Piazza, Cameron, Peavy... too many guys I like on their side.

Pads...I'd rather face Piazza and Cameron than Pujols...although, the Pads have more pitchers that could give us headaches...

When Yadier Molina becomes a Free Agent, I want to see him in a Mets uniform...regardless of how he hits, he is in a class by himself as a catcher...

He's good, but he ain't that good.

Padres all the way. Much like the Twins in the AL, the Padres are a team I have always liked and hoped to see do well. I guess I just like the underdogs.
