So he'll be what Nomar was beginning with the third game of the NLDS. Or better yet, what Kirk Gibson was in the 1988 World Series. The Mets made two big mistakes with their NLCS roster. Including Cliff and not including a fifth guy who could start.

I'm not so sure the second was necessarily a big mistake but rather the result of unfortunate circumstance.

But it will be ashame if this ends up playing a major factor. I wanted to see Cliff there, so I wont complain. If the Mets make the BIG SHOW, itll be sad if Cliffy has to sit and watch. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm certainly not ready to do a postmortem on why they lost. Especially since they're still undefeated on the postseason! I just pointed out that I think they made two key errors in making the NLCS roster. I hope, and expect, that they'll win the series anyway.

lmao---that Grady is close to the Grady I was thinking of,.. cept-- he didnt have an afro or beard..... he wasnt black,....... he wasnt a TV personality....... never seen the guy smile.... I think he still has his real teeth...... Wait! You werent close at all.
