I was looking at SteveJRogers' list of WS game winners and saw Waite Hoyt. I then wondered if there'd ever been another player named "Waite". And then I thought of the alphabetical threads in the non-baseball area. So I wonder if we could compile a list of guys who have unique first names in baseball. No Nomar as that's his middle name. I also discovered Chico Salmon, who's name is Rutherford Eduardo Salmon when I wanted to pull up Ruth. Cy Young is the only Denton. Moises Alou is the only Moises. Anyone think of anyone else?

I'm guessing there's also only one Lynn.

Actually, there have been a few Lynns. Lynn McGlothen was an All-Star pitcher in 1974. Lynn Jones won a World Series with the Royals in 1985.
