I'm feeling even less optimistic than I did last night, which is really saying something.

Tommy Lasorda might soon have to come tell me to "get out of the tree".

I'd just spit on his head.

Mixed feelings about Lasorda. I didn't enjoy the 1988 NLCS. And he's annoying.

But he brought Mikey into my life.

I'm disappointed....IN YOU GUYS!

C'mon already - a bad few innings and you all fold like a card table.

Have some faith in your team. This is a SEVEN game series, not a best 2 out of 3.

This is not over. Its over when WE say its over!

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

LET'S GO!!!!

A win tomorrow and things will be looking brighter.

Especially if that's followed by a win on Monday.

A win tonight insures a return to Shea. That would make this series more positive overall.

AND - their pitcher tonight isn't exactly Cy Young either.

Yeah. It'll be a battle between two awful pitchers.

Maybe ours will be the one who's less awful tonight.

It would be nice if the Mets Jeckyl & Hyde offense is more Jeckyly tonight. Or should that be Hydey? I suck at metaphor.

Hyde was the monster and we'd like that monster out of the cage I think.

Willets Point

Yea but Jeckyl was the good personality and we want our offense to be good.

Oct 15 2006 10:21 AM

How about we want it to be Jekyl & Hyde - good and monster-y.

I'd pee on him, but you're nicer than me.

Screw being bummed, people. Go out, get some sun, have some fun ...
because tonight WE KICK SOME REDBIRD ASS!!!

I guess my literary radar is busted this morning. When I read Jeckyl and Hyde, I thought of those two magpies, and not Robert Louis Stevenson:
