OK, so my trick didn't work

I figured I'd try to keep track of what level I was under for each post that I made by just changing my signature. But now I see that all of my posts have been changed to include my current custom signature, the same way that all previous posts are changed when you change your avatar or whatever. Oh well.

Old habits die hard. I really like the new board and appreciate all the hard work that has gone into it, but I do miss having a historical perspective of posts as people went through the levels toward Seaverdom. You can't have it all, I guess.
